Ashley R. Wright, Esq. is a zealous litigation attorney by trade with a fervent passion for the arts, and has more than 15 years of experience in pageantry, modeling, and dance combined. Ashley is a natural born performer and began dancing at the age of 6 years old. She received extensive, advanced level training in multiple genres of dance, including but not limited to ballet, tap, jazz, modern, pointe, African, and hip hop.
What sets Ashley apart from other pageant coaches? Ashley has uniquely combined her love for law with her passion for pageantry and performing arts. She likens her trial experience in the courtroom to that of a pageant. Ashley has tried over 50 jury trials from jury selection to verdict and knows full well what it takes to empower a group of individuals to “connect the dots” in one’s favor, whether it be a panel of pageant judges or a set of jurors in a courtroom. She has mastered the art of poise, professionalism, presentation, performance, and preparation — Ashley knows what it takes to win.
Ashley’s passion for dance and performing arts continued throughout her teenage years where she served as the Captain of the “Raines Platinum Vikettes” and “Epsilon Dancers,” two of Jacksonville, Florida’s most premiere high school dance teams. Under Ashley’s training and leadership, both teams were able to compete in and win various local and state dance competitions. Ashley is a proud alumna and Valedictorian of William M. Raines High School where she was crowned Miss William M. Raines High School 2007-2008. Ashley’s continued love for pageantry and performance led her to compete in the Miss Senior High/Northeast Florida Pageant, a Miss Florida Pageant preliminary, where she placed as a top 5 finalist out of 20+ girls reigning from Duval, Clay, and St. John’s Counties.
Ashley is a proud cum laude graduate of the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in Communication Studies. While at UF, Ashley adamantly continued to pursue her love for the stage. After her first year in the organization, Ashley served as the female trainer of Faces Modeling Troupe, Inc., the largest and most dynamic modeling organization on the east coast of Florida. As female trainer, Ashley upheld the organization’s motto of “Everyday is a Runway” and trained many models on unique runway techniques and various mechanics.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and volunteering in the Central Florida legal and professional community. Ashley serves as a guest judge for various local pageants in Central Florida and surrounding areas. She is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association, Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, and Central Florida Urban League of Young Professionals.
